- Do not consume unpasteurized milk or any derived product.
- Do not eat raw vegetables outside the house. Make sure that they are well cleaned and prepared. Clean them with soap and wash under runny water.
- Do not consume cottage, soft and cream cheese.
- Wear gloves while gardening. Any vegetable contaminated by cat feces can be harmful to you and cause toxoplasmosis infection.
- Do not drink untreated, unclean water.
- Cook very well your meat and chicken meals. Do not consume raw meat.
- Do not consume smoked seafood.
- Do not eat refrigerated pâté or meat spreads.
- When in doubt, do not consume the food. Throw it.
