A sun visor is a very useful piece of the summertime gear; spend some fun time and make your own cute sun visor!
You will need:
Craft foam
Curly shoelaces
Scissors
Sticky-back craft foam
Help your child to draw a visor shape on a piece of craft foam. Let it be around 25 cm from temple to temple and with a 9.5 cm wide brim. Using scissors cut it out and then cut a small X at each temple. Afterwards, let your child prepare the shapes he/she wants to use to decorate the visor. Let him/her draw those shapes on the sticky-back craft foam and help him/her to cut them out and stick them on the visor. Finally, pull the first few loops of a curly shoelace through the two Xs, adjusting it to fit your child’s head.
